@z428 I am really not looking forward to the cold! Hehe. I have a pretty old phone that I still take "snappy snaps" on but they are pretty garbage for the most part! I hear the Sony Alphas are really nice to use as well, and it sounds like it would be fun with old lenses. I got a converter for my old lenses, just to try them out with the Fuji, but the xpro2 doesn't have in body image stabilisation so it was all just a bit...difficult.
I also like the process of processing, but film is so merciless -- you can spend so much time on it just to end up with nothing very good because of some mistake or other.
Hah! Probably about the same age as the old Pentax. Though I only inherited the student lenses my sister must have bought when she was using it at some stage.
I guess (?) any sort of "making pictures" is fun when there is a bit of a process to it. I still like the physical hands-on stuff way more than tweaking levels in Lightroom...even if it is more unpredictable!
